There's a gentle new
way to image the breast.

Discover Breast Ultrasound

Over 40% of women have dense breasts. Dense breast tissue can hide breast cancers and increase breast cancer risk.
SoftVue™ is a unique breast ultrasound system that is designed to help doctors see through dense breast tissue.
SoftVue™ uses sound waves that circle 360° around the whole breast, creating 3D images from the nipple to back of the breast.

Looking for 10,000 Women

Multiple breast centers across the country are participating in this large SoftVue™ data collection program. Its aim is to enroll 10,000 women who have dense breasts. Qualified volunteers may get a SoftVue™ exam as part of this nationwide project.

The program will collect anonymous images and medical information from volunteers which will help to scientifically determine if more cancers are found when SoftVue™ is added to yearly mammography screening, compared to mammography only.
